From the time I was a baby,
Through the years, to present day.
Your Fatherly love and good advice
Has guided me along the way.

Your patience and understanding
When growing pains would arise,
Let me know that you still loved me
Even with my deceipt and lies.

You directed me with kindness
In your own special words,
With the little talks we had
About things and bees and birds.

You were there on special occasions
Taking photos and movies and such.
I always had the feeling you cared,
And that meant so very much.

Today, you're that same loving Father
That makes life interesting and fun.
Speaking in terms of the game of golf,
"You are a hole in one".

You worked hard, sacrificed and worried
While your kids were hard at play.
