The sun is shining, no clouds around,
My day is going well.
My work is done, I've got time to spare,
I can goof off for a spell.

I know that I have many friends
With whom to spend my time,
All across the internet,
I'll send one of them a Rhyme.

I looked on my favorite sites
And after searching for awhile.
I found this card, a perfect one,
A simple, yellow smile.

Now I know these smiles are plentiful,
They're strewn across the net.
The odds that you've received one
Is a pretty solid bet.

But these pretty yellow smilies
That I'm sending you this day,
Come from the bottom of my heart
And mean more than I can say.

A smile can speak a thousand words
And not even make a sound.
It can warm your heart completely
Even when no one's around.

I searched for a special e-mail
And after a little while,
I sent a very special person
A simple, yellow smile.
