The beauty of the colorful flowers
Fill our hearts with cheer.
My favorite time of year is Spring
When the birds are chirping
And the grass is green;
When I'm sitting on
the porch swing napping
And hearing the wings
of an Eagle flapping.
I catch a glympse of the squirrels
Playing around the big oak tree.
The beautiful, tiny Hummingbird,
A spectacular sight to see.
God knew what he was doing
When he created Spring.
The joy, the peace and happiness
This season always brings.
Lord knows there are many things
That make me want to sing.
The one that really tunes me in
Is the beautiful season called Spring.
