The Marines are men and women
Who fight in far-away lands.
They've sworn to protect our freedom
In the wars in the Arabian sands.
Duty, Honor, Pride and Corps
Was embedded in their brain.
They are first to fight and first to die
In honor of the "American" name.
They are a proud and brave infantry
Who have a tradition to uphold,
It was Marines that were first on the beaches
In the history of wars that's been told.
It has become a common story,
We see it across our screens.
We hear of another fire-fight
Carried out by the U. S. Marines.
They are not the heartless warriors
That are shown in the movies you see.
They are known to take in the orphans
And hungry in the lands that they free.
They are commonly called the Devil Dogs
And the enemy fears them, it seems.
There are many heroes among them,
The United States Marines.
"The Marines have landed" is a welcomed sound
In the lands that they have freed.
The fallen have landed with God in heaven,
For they've done their golden deed.
God bless all of the families
That have given supremely to all.
They deserve every praise we can give them,
For their children, who fought brave and tall.
There are many heroes in all of our forces
That have fought gallantly in combat scenes,
But there's something special about Pride and Corps,
In The United States Marines.
