Life is so very precious
And we cherish each and every day
The time that we spend with loved ones
For we know not what will happen today.
We live and remember the angels
That were lost on that terrible day.
The family and friends that are left behind
Are in our hearts and our thoughts as we pray.
Dear God, be with all of the families
Who lost loved ones on 9-11.
Give them the strength to carry on
Knowing those loved ones are with You in heaven.
The sorrow and pain that they carry
Will forever be felt by us all
And we pray, as the day is remembered
You will walk with them and not let them fall.
