Thank you for the special ways
You've shown your love to me.
It's made a difference in my life,
How I turned out to be.

I'll not forget the times we shared
When I was in your care.
The loving ways you scolded me
When I got in your hair.

I know it wasn't easy
Keeping up with me,
And making sure I walked the path
That you cut out for me.

I know that I am lucky
To have a mom like you,
Who loves me every day
No matter what I do.

At times like this it's easy
To travel back in time
And remember why you'll always
