Poem by: © G. Alexander
We're friends, it is plain to see.
We talk nearly every day.
Cyber-friends are special ones
They always have something to say.
I may not know what you look like
Or how you comb your hair,
But I can tell by what you say
That you're a person who really cares.
The smiley faces and greetings
That you send to me each day
Keeps me anxiously awaiting their arrival
To see just what they say.
I know the names of your children
And what you are cooking for dinner.
I know the movies you like to watch
And I know when you get slimmer.
I know when you're having a good day
And when you're having one thats bad.
I know when you are happy
And I know when you are sad.
I wish I knew my neighbors
Half as much as I know you.
I see them, most every day
And I wish I could see you too.
I'm sending you this poem
Because I've come to know you well.
I appreciate your friendship
As I am sure that you can tell.
