RECOMMENDED SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:
If you have a Windows computer with Internet Explorer, you are usually good to go. We recommend the Internet Explorer browser version 5.5 or higher, used with Windows 98 or newer for the best viewing experience. Your browser privacy settings should be set to allow cookies to be set by CardFountain.com. For more information about how we utilize cookies, please read our privacy policy.
MACROMEDIA FLASH IS REQUIRED:
You need to have Flash version 7 or higher from Macromedia. Flash is a free browser plugin that is required for viewing high quality animation on the web. Flash is usually pre-installed when you buy a computer.
WE SUPPORT ALL MAJOR BROWSERS:
CardFountain is optimized for Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. However, we have made improvements over recent years for compatibility with the following browsers:
AOL ( version 7 and higher )
Mozilla/FireFox ( all versions )
NetScape ( 6.0 and higher )
Opera browser ( all versions )
NetCaptor ( all versions )
MSN browser ( all versions )
While CardFountain.com will work with all of these browsers, there are a few areas of our web site that are compatible only with Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. These areas may include photo uploads, some definable cards, and interactive cards. If you run into any problems, download your free copy of Internet Explorer and give that a try instead.
WEB-TV/MSN-TV USERS:
CardFountain.com is not 100% compatible with WEB-TV/MSN-TV. Many areas of our site however, including many static (non-animated) cards will work though. Our card sending form and registration forms will work fine for WEB-TV/MSN-TV users as well. The biggest issue with WEB-TV/MSN-TV users is that it does not support the most recent version of the Flash player (7). If you have a more recent version of WEB-TV/MSN-TV that does support version (7), then you may be able to access additional areas of our web site.
MACINTOSH USERS:
Our site has not yet been tested on the Macintosh platform. We have a few users with Macintosh computers and they tell us that they are able to use it with a special version of Internet Explorer designed for Mac computers. CardFountain.com does not optimize for Mac users yet. We are working on this for future release. Until then, you may be able to use parts of our web site, while other areas may be unavailable or appear broken. We have noticed that there are some compatibility issues regarding the newer versions of the flash plugin for Mac computers as well. The issues may cause some of our e-cards to appear broken for Mac users.
MOBILE OR HANDHELD USERS:
Our site is not compatible with mobile or handheld devices.
